Membership is composed of manufacturers, (Full Member), as well as those who provide a product or service for manufacturing (Associate Member).
Manufacturer Membership [Membership Dues have been temporarily waived until further notice]
Full Membership
A Full Member is represented by a manufacturing organization or manufacturing-related organization that is experiencing very similar issues, in terms of workforce development, advocacy needs, and professional development. Each full membership will receive one vote. The cost for an annual full-membership is $250.
Associate Membership
An Associate Member is representative of organizations that support manufacturers in Hays and Caldwell Counties, such as educational institutions or suppliers. The intent of this membership category is to provide a link and improved working relationships with our allied organizations. Associate memberships are invited to participate in GSMMA activities but will not be given a vote. They are not able to hold an officer position within the organization. The cost for an annual associate-membership is $500.
Exempt Associate Membership
Organizations that support manufacturing but are not allowed to pay dues to a lobbying organization, such as our ISDs and Non-profits.
Honorary Membership
was created for several individuals of the association who were a part of the founding members that have since retired. Honorary members are not required to pay dues. Honorary membership must be approved by the membership committee.
Membership Dues
The purpose of membership dues is to support the administrative needs and programs produced by GSMMA. Opportunities this could include but are not limited to are the following: fees for speakers related to professional development, food/drink and other hosting costs, and promotional materials for distribution and recruitment.
